Please could you help me by explaining what the difference is between the sentences?

"Backup Config File" (entrada 24)

and

"Backed Up Config File" (entrada 26)

Not even Artificial Intelligence can explain the difference between "Backup" and "Backed Up."

Where did the "Write Error" occur?

backup is the target for a new backup

backed up is an existing backup file

I can't find that string when running the app so am unsure about the context, but it appears to me that in 24 "backup" is a verb, and the string means "make a backup of the Config file." In 26 it is an adjective, so = "the Config file that has been backed up."

I tried to understand both responses and produced the following text in Portuguese, including an automatic translation into English. If the automatic translation into English is correct, then the text in Brazilian Portuguese will certainly be correct.

Thanks, Portuguese is one of the most up to date languages, it helped me fix a bug, the filer where you select "All", "Running" etc would not work in a translated interface, this should be fixed now.

There should be some new strings coming up to transifex soon (@dolphin_oracle do I need to do anything or they are picked up from github?)

They should get picked up automatically from github. I haven't got any failure notices.

Adrian, I'm grateful for all the volunteer work you, dolphin_oracle, Jerry3904, and so many others dedicate to producing and keeping MX Linux alive.

I'm an active antiX Linux user, but since I can't find any other Brazilian MX users willing to take over MX translations for me, I'll continue dedicating my time and volunteering to MX translations, trying to produce translations as good as those I can produce for antiX. It's a shame that my computer doesn't work with MX, just as it does with antiX. Unfortunately, I can't see the results of MX translations and only listen to MX users' suggestions on how I can improve the translation of each sentence.

Since "mx-conky" has received new features, I suggest improving the text in the "Comment=" entry in the ".desktop" file to include a description of the new features. For example, in "AppSelect" or "Rofi," when we type "edit conky" or "modify conky" or "theme for conky" or "edit the system monitor" into the search bar, if these words aren't present in the ".desktop" file, the end user will never find "mx-conky." Therefore, I believe it's essential to update ".desktop" files as the program's functionality increases. I use the text in the "Comment[pt_BR]=" entry to explain in as much detail as possible what the program does. Each entry ("Name[pt_BR]=", "GenericName[pt_BR]=", and "Keywords[pt_BR]=") receives strategic text to best promote the program and increase the user's chances of finding it in a program launcher or menu.

Adrian, eu sou grato por todo o trabalho voluntário que você, o dolphin_oracle, o Jerry3904 e tantas outras pessoas dedicam para produzir e manter vivo o MX Linux.

Eu sou um usuário ativo do antiX Linux, mas como eu não encontro nenhum outro brasileiro que seja usuário do MX e queira assumir as traduções do MX no meu lugar, eu continuarei dedicando o meu tempo e trabalho voluntário com as traduções do MX, tentando produzir traduções tão boas quanto as que consigo produzir para o antiX. É uma pena que o meu computador não fica funcional com o MX, da mesma maneira que fica com o antiX. Infelizmente, eu não consigo ver o resultado das traduções do MX e somente ouço os usuários do MX em como posso melhorar a tradução de cada frase.

Uma vez que o "mx-conky" recebeu novas funcionalidades, eu sugiro que o texto da entrada "Comment=" do arquivo ".desktop" seja aprimorado incluindo a descrição das novas funcionalidades.
