No internet after last update, but wifi works

I've updated my laptop yesterday and after starting it up today, it connected to my router, but there is no internet connection.
Browser says: "Hmm. We're having trouble finding that site."
ping says: "ping utopify.org: Name or service not known"
If I ping a machine in the same network: "Destination Port Unreachable"
IPv4 Settings says: "Automatic (DHCP)"
Even if it connects to the router, it doesn't show up in Syncthing on other devices.
The internet is working and other devices don't have this issue.
What can I do to solve this issue, because I've never had it like this.

Assuming that your WiFi card is one of the first two:
--> right click on the wifi icon in the panel
--> click on Edit Connections
--> double click on your SSID
--> use the selection box to the right of Band to switch from Automatic to /b/g or just /g
What is happening is that the WiFi card is trying to use N protocol and the above steps force it to use G instead. In theory N gives the greatest range and fastest throughput, but it is so susceptible to interference that it is useless which is why it was quickly abandoned.

try with
ping 1.1.1.1
it could be a dns problem
Try to see if you can access the router login from the browser, at least you'll know if the problem is with the computer or external.

ping 1.1.1.1 says: "ping: sendmsg: operation not permitted. From 192.x.x.x icmp_seq=4 Destination Port Unreachable"
I can't reach the router from the browser from the device. But the router is reachable from every other device in the network.

You said that you updated the laptop two days ago, so was this a standard update as issued by our developers or did you do something on your own?
Also, can you access the internet from a live session?

At startup, try to choose an older kernel if you still have it.
I believe the problem is the wifi firmware that doesn't work well with the kernel.
Ah, if ping doesn't work, also try sudo ping.

I used following command to update my system. I do this once in a while:

downloaded the current version of
MX-23.6_x64 and started the live system. Wifi is working and the internet connection is there, too.

I don't know how new the newest
MX-23.6_x64 is, but if the live system works, I guess the firmware is okay and it must break somewhere else. But I don't understand where? How can wifi work, but not the connection itself?

I get the same output with sudo :(
EDIT: I've tried to make a wired connection with an adapter for the Lenovo laptop, but I've got the same issue. Something broke pretty hard…

Please post the QSI from a live session so we can compare it to the one from your install.

From my own personal experience the liquorix kernel can sometimes cause weird issues. Since you tried running MX LINUX Live session and your Internet worked narrows it down to the liquorix kernel. What I recommend is to install the stock MX-23.6 kernel and don't uninstall the liquorix kernel in case you want to go back to that kernel. Then boot with the stock MX kernel and then see if the Internet works which I suspect it will.
