The BT version is listed at the bottom of the command hciconfig -a

Code: Select all

$ inxi -S
System:
Desktop: Xfce v: 4.20.0 Distro: MX-23.5_x64 Libretto July 31  2023

$ hciconfig -a
hci0:	Type: Primary  Bus: USB
...
	HCI Version: 2.1 (0x4)  Revision: 0x132
	LMP Version: 2.1 (0x4)  Subversion: 0x4203
...

Since your not using words.. its pretty hard to guess what your attempting to say. Post #35 shows he last hciconfig -a to my request for BT number.. and from what I see there it shows 5.2

It's very clear what I say:

Is my "Debian" or "MX" BT version 2.1 when it should've been 5.x ? How ?

Next time, use words. We are not on a forum to guess what you mean.

Also, this is not your topic, so if you have a question on YOUR system, start a new topic.

Why QSI? I've posted the relevant part and as you say: This is not my topic and a help request or question for myself.

Do I need to split the topic, or can we go back to it being andre's topic as it originally was before it got derailed?
