your BT version in debian is 5.2 ... and last I checked my laptop MX was a 5.3 ( I cannot say THAT is the issue.. but it sure seems like a deep clue to me.)

The BT version is listed at the bottom of the command hciconfig -a

Since your not using words.. its pretty hard to guess what your attempting to say. Post #35 shows he last hciconfig -a to my request for BT number.. and from what I see there it shows 5.2
