Okay since my request for these packages didn't work before, I think I will try again.
Slimbookbattery is a GUI frontend to TLP and offers uses a choice on how their power is used on laptops.
This is an app created by the slimbook team for the linux slimbook line of laptops.
But one can use this on normal laptops, I had great successes with them on my newer HP laptop and if you need someone to test them I'm game.
There are other tools created by the team such as slimbookamd and slimbookintel which farther improve battery life.
Now all of these do have precompiled binaries for ubuntu but none seem to work that well with MXlinux and well thats why I am requesting these... again.
TLP alone is okay, but I find slimbooks apps very effective as I can tweak them to my own needs as opposed to just sticking with the default settings.
I did install MX21 on my older laptop which I am planning to experiment with, I may even try this on my newer laptop again.

there are the githubs, now yes they do have precompiled binaries but none work well with MXlinux.
It will be nice to have these tools, they help my battery loads when i am on Kubuntu
