I did that even at post #25 , page 3, also sent a report to admins (to be done by them as it seemed the OP wanted to go on there off-topic).

If you mark the topic solved, count on less traffic as people think it is solved.

So I can say that it is not a hard drive and RAM issue.
I installed an Arch distribution. I installed EndeavorOS_Artemis_neo_22_7.

I had previously tested Debian and Ubuntu. I tried EndeavorOS, that is Arch Distro. If I boot the installation normally I have the problem too, but it also offers "fallback initramfs" on boot. I don't know what this is, so I no longer have the problems mentioned. The apps are quick to install, quick to open and quick to use.

Unfortunately, on Debian distributions like MX-Linux, there is no option to select "fallback initramfs".
What is that exactly?
Is it possible to type something in the MX linux boot option?

A couple of observations:

All of the distros that you state you had success with are based on SystemD while MX uses SysVinit by default. It very well may be that your particular laptop requires SystemD in order to work properly. You can choose to run MX with SystemD by clicking on the Advanced category in Grub and if it improves your performance you can make it permanent with the Boot Options utility in MX Tools.

It may be that there are nuances (besides SysVinit) in the way that MX is constructed that mean your particular laptop will never run MX properly and that you may have to switch to one of the distros that work flawlessly. It happens -- I had an Acer desktop like that on which I reinstalled Win 7 and then gave away to a relative.

It may be that your laptop needs a bios update. This should be an absolute last resort since flashing the bios can easily "brick" a computer.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the help and answers!

Unfortunately I have to use EndeavorOS_Artemis_neo_22_7 now.

Would have liked to use MX-Linux. Maybe on a different computer.

Start out with yes. If your system is 64 bit capable, then that one. If it is really new then ahs, otherwise just pick between what you like.. xfce, kde, fluxbox.

Personally I would stick with the 64bits standard xfce and see what that does booted in systemd first. You can always install anew later with what you prefer. Now you need to determine if systemd is the solution or not.

You can boot into it in the grub screen, selecting advanced, it should then be there if I recall correctly.
