Possibly an installer crash, it never happened to me at that step though... not sure what's went on.I set the timezones, clicked next, and the installer vanished ! (not sure what happened, did I press a wrong button??!!?!?)
Probably missing a %1 tag or something, easy to fix.Jerry3904 wrote: Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:28 pmI saw that too, and assumed a root slash was missing. The installer asks "OK to install GRUB bootloader at ?"

Actually now, it probably doesn't find the boot partition for some reason, will investigate
The changes may have happened before the beta?only installer I have ever gotten to work in the stock mx 17 iso without the updates. The mx 17 iso with updates will not work so something changed and now I cant install apparently in uefi and I don't go for that give up and install how it forces me to stuff.

Thanks for this report, the installer is fixed I think, the update should come in a pool shortly, but you can also try the fixed package from here: https://github.com/MX-Linux/gazelle-ins ... _amd64.debentropyfoe wrote: Mon Dec 03, 2018 9:18 pm But I had problems with installing GRUB to root. The P4 never showed up in the installer window. I don't want to MBR, as that is my main MX 17.1 system. The installer asks "OK to install GRUB bootloader at ?", so maybe it is not seeing that 4th nvme partition for some reason. It offered the option to not install grub, complete installation, and then reboot and use the grub repair tool.
