Result is the same. "Failed to prepare subvolumes."
Whats the advices?
Create ordinary USB without Ventoy?

Again. No success.
Flash made with MX live usb maker.
(writable, GPT, +data partition)
m-install_1.png
edit:
@dolphin_oracle
The same error like previous attempt. First attempt (Ventoy, not toram) has different error.
Just to note I have unlocked LUKS containers from installer, to let it know password, and of course checked "add to cryppttab". But you know all that from logs...
How does installer handle password, when it needs to use it for creating another keyslot for subsequent unlock of another (home) partition at boot?
Please, squash this nasty bug, which prevents usage for privacy sensitive users who want to use BTRFS, of this beautiful distro.
Regards,
Andy

well certainly a problem, but make sure you create a @ subvolume and use as target for root.

Please look at the screenshot - didn't I make it right? I let installer to do BTRFS format, and create subvolumes. Choosing "create subvolume" from context menu.

looks ok but your minstall.log did not have the creation of @ subvolume I don't think.
hmmm, might be assuming that subvolumes are all on the same partition. I did this with one btrfs partition instead of two.
workaround for now would be to install with just root, and add the /home after installation. but will look into the situation.

The live USB booted even with secure boot enabled. I got a quick error message, but then it booted. And the installer ran, too. But the results were not so great; it was an incomplete install. Maybe the installer should check if secure boot is enabled?

The installer should work. You may want to disable secure boot, when booting into the installed system.
Otherwise some manualy steps to enable secure boot on the installed system may be needed.

the problem i deleted has resurfaced
i have only been using the RC2 for a few hours
first thing i always do with a new install is to edit the power settings because i hate screen dimming...... anyway - the GUI would not open after i clicked
configure energy saving options
a reboot fixed it
after a while, the issue came nack and the GUI wouldn;t pen - same issue with all the other system settings options - the applet is about to open and then expires
