Now run the installer, and simply, select auto install entire disk
and later for GRUB select ESP ( which shall be preselected)
When done try to reboot - remove LiveUSB -, and post back how it behaves,
and post "QSI" again from running installed system.
i try it. but i cant choose ESP. there is no GRUB suggestion.
and the installer frozen at 94%. nothing happens.
what should i do or try?
Rather unusual, for installing entire disk in UEFI mode that no ESP is available to select.

* Post, the text-file /vat/log/minstall.log.
may be copy first and rename to minstall.log.txt

* Also may be make screen shot of the different mx-installer - window
where you have selected the installation target drive for auto-install entire-disk.
and the GRUB installation window.
Don't screen dump entire screen, only the selected window,
save as jpg so you can attach to the post.

what do you mean with different mx-installer? before update or old standard mx-installer?

We don't know anything about your "mentioned " error, so can't "simply guess" for adding a magic boot option.
For now only use the one you have chosen for selecting lang/kbd and timezone.,
B/C liveUSB seem to work fine without any further boot option.

Otherwise if that's to much for you,
do try to install in NON-UEFI boot mode (which is BIOS/legacy mode)
but do also select auto-install entire disk
and post /var/log/minstall-log as mentioned if any issues.

Post the output of this command,
after you have started/finished the mx-installer:

Code: Select all

ls -l /var/log/*.log

Hmme, would be helpfull to figure this out, in case smething needs to be fixed.
Anyway try install entire disk when ready reboot ( or better shutdown and pull-out liveUSB)
and check whether it boots intzo the GRUB menu.
Otherwise press F12-Boot options list and select MX21 EFI loader from listed boot options,
just in case MX21 is not the preselected default EFI loader..
