No good reason that I know of besides the fact that no one noticed. @m_pav ?
Thanks!

I read about such issue in an earlier forum post, ie that the fluxbox [config] menu could not be activated by rightclick on the native fluxbox toolbar.dolphin_oracle wrote: Mon Aug 23, 2021 10:33 am what would be the compelling reason to bring in 1.3.7? IIRC, there is a right-click on the fluxbox taskbar issue that is broken in 1.3.7, unless its been fixed.

1. Strange menu entry in menu-mx_plCode: Select all
... [exec] (Uruchom) {fbrun} [exec] () {custom-toolbox /etc/custom-toolbox/mxfb-settings.list} [exec] (Terminal) {roxterm} ...
There is no such an entry in the non-localized menu-mx.
2. Calendar Wars (YAD vs. gsimplecal).
Episode I: The Localization Strikes Back:
YAD calendar - localized out of the box, gsimplecal only in English.
The old YADa Master says: Perhaps we don't need gsimplecal at all...![]()
Code: Select all
yad --calendar --no-buttons --fixed --height 50
Yes, it may be advisable to have a default application associated with mime-type "inode/directory", set for the user.wdscharff wrote: Wed Aug 25, 2021 7:54 am This is more than strange and odd!
I use Drill for file search, it is significantly faster than Catfish.
There are two functions, right click on file and it is opened in the editor, right click on path and the default file manager is opened in the appropriate directory.
And now it no longer opens the path in the file manager but calls qmplay2, the music player.
When I uninstall it, it calls me the harddisk allocation (baobab) in the directory.
To top it all off, Catfish does it too.
Can someone verify/falsify this on their system.
Code: Select all
xdg-mime default pcmanfm-qt.desktop inode/directory
Code: Select all
xdg-mime default spacefm.desktop inode/directory
Code: Select all
xdg-mime default thunar.desktop inode/directory
Thanks, Works :-)Alternatively one can use the file managers own way of setting a default app for this mime type:
E.g in Thunar right click on a folder ( = "inode/directory") and select PCmanFM
...
and by this the selected the File manger becomes the default mimetype association for inode/directory.
