Every boot live and installed, on a 64-bit desktop machine, generates an xmessage;

Re: MX-21 fluxbox beta 1 feedback thread.
Just getting back after a long work day, haven't had a chance to even download yet.
The tint2 we are using as default includes an active battery item for the first time. It is set to show in red when battery level drops to 30%, but perhaps there is a problem with the setup. I would think a log out/in would clear it, but if not the easiest solution for now: use Settings manager > Tint2manager to select the same tint2 without the battery: "nobattery-tint2rc"
-------
Now running Live: no message. But that may just be because I am on the same machine I do MXFB development on, and X figures it has already given me the message...

Re: MX-21 fluxbox beta 1 feedback thread.
The 64 bit download link for md5_checksum_signature points to the 32 bit md5.

Re: MX-21 fluxbox beta 1 feedback thread.
Ran from Live USB.
- also took about 90 secs to come to the desktop
- message about low battery. Disappears when tint2 set to nobattery-tint2rc
- conky had black background
Congrats, the new & revised tools look a lot more intuitive and accessible for newcomers.
I seem to have a few hardware issues compared to my current install
- I can only select a maximum screen resolution of 1280x1024. (graphic card not supported by new nouveau driver?)
- CPU identified as single core instead of dual core
- Shutdown hangs and doesn't complete
QSI MX21 live USB
For comparison, QSI current MX19.4 install
- also took about 90 secs to come to the desktop
- message about low battery. Disappears when tint2 set to nobattery-tint2rc
- conky had black background
