Skippy-xd_20250816 is now available in the MX23 & MX25 main repos.
An antiX user tracked me down from the Maintainer: line in the MX-19 skippy-xd package I built asking for a deb with a desktop file so it could be run from the menu.
I discovered that skippy-xd is back in active development, having been forked from the dormant site.
Its command line options have changed since that 2019 version so check the --help option before setting it up.

Thanks for taking time to track that down!
For fun I tried it on Enlightenment and it doesn't seem to like it:
Code: Select all
skippy-xd
wm_check(): Your WM is neither EWMH nor GNOME WM compliant. Troubles ahead.
Anyway, no harm no foul I was just curious about it.

Thanks!
I still use it in MX and other distros with XFCE, Budgie desktop and MATE. My current source for skippy-xd was from elsewhere - can't recall where but it was mentioned in an xfce forum post where a hotcorners project
https://github.com/Leinnan/lwa-hot-corners was also mentioned.
I use both skippy and hotcorners together where possible if hotcorners works (skippy always works), though I might have interchanged between this hotcorners program with bl-hotcorners from Bunsenlabs.
Hotcorners doesn't seem to work in PCLinuxOS right now, though I'm not sure if it's because of PCLOS (they also removed Compiz from their repos) itself or MATE. Still working in Solus with Budgie desktop.
