OK, so I might have missed pm the search but
I need to know to change the name of the drives I have. Default names are non-descriptive and I want to change them.
The second pic shows what comes up in properties

I don't think you'll need my system info but the rules say I have include it.

Moved to help forum, you are not sharing a tip or trick. Also, why roll your eyes after saying thanks?

I have found that gnome-disks ( MX Package Installer, gnome-disk-utility ) is the simplest method and also can rename veracrypt volumes as well!

Choose the disk, then edit filesystem and change the label.

Thanks I didn't know if I was looking for help or if there was a tip for this.
I rolled my eyes because I thought maybe was too basic question.

There is no such thing as a too basic question. :)

"I have found that gnome-disks ( MX Package Installer, gnome-disk-utility ) is the simplest method and also can rename veracrypt volumes as well!"
I was unable to find gnome-disk-utility in my MX Package Installer. What category is it in? I looked in Utilities
I then installed it through Synaptic and restarted my system but still can't find it.

IN MX Package Installer, search for gnome-disk and then change to the enabled Repos. It should be in there.
