Hello everyone, I'm a newly registered newcomer and I just started using MXLINUX.
I wanted to install DOCKER on my MXLINUX and it indicated that the installation was successful. However, when running docker, it always reports an error "Cannot connect to the Docker daemon at unix:///var/run/docker.sock. Is the docker daemon running?", even after I reinstalled the system and reinstalled DOCKER, it's still the same.
I would like to ask all of you, who can guide me on how to solve this problem? Thank you very much!
From here:
https://docs.docker.com/desktop/setup/install/linux/
Docker requires SystemD so, if you haven't already done so, you should use Boot Options in MX Tools to switch to a SystemD kernel, reboot and try your install again.

@pixie I told you to start your own topic, that means you do not continue in someone else's topic but you actually start your OWN topic.
Please be clear next time whether you are offering a solution or are posting a problem, because now I have split it off going on a guess.
Your topic is here now.
If you have a solution, please repost there. And then continue on your own issue here. Thanks.

@j2mcgreg Can you repost the info that got pulled along with the split here back into the original topic? Thanks. :)

@pixie
When you post the QSI output please encase it in code tags rather than quote tags which make it easier to read and navigate here in the forum. I made the change for you this time.
