Black screen with cursor

Hello all! I recently installed MX, but the bug I want to discuss is crucial for me.

Sometimes I face a black screen, but the mouse cursor is active. It only happens when I try to reconnect the external monitor (everything is okay on boot) and after waking up from sleep mode.

I tried installing the newest kernel, but it had no effect.
What can I do?

Lenovo ideapad 3, AMD Ryzen 3 4300U with Radeon Graphics @ 4x 2.7GHz, last MX with KDE

If you like we can try such a thing:

Install ARandR (very tiny program which was once ootb) then "when everything's ok" "save as" ... It saves as a .sh file which's already executable ...

... then we can use that script to be applied after every wake-up automatically.

I have similar problem with a Live USB installation on KDE.
I don't have a cursor, just blank screen and pressing keyboard mouse doesn't do bring the screen back.
I also set the system not to sleep, and in my case, the hdmi connection is not always there. When I plug the hdmi cable back after quite a while, the screen just blank.

It is not an ideal solution, but it works:

I've made .sh file with arandr, but added few srings:

Code: Select all

#!/bin/sh
xrandr -s 0
sleep 0.5
<STRING FROM ARANDR>
Then, I made a shortcut to launch this script.
And now I need to use the shortcut after reconnecting hdmi and after sleep mode
