Hi! I am a 73y oldguy in Austria, but not a linux freak, only love my MX Linux. As I am not really into the terminal, I only WANTED TO ASK if this [url]Pantum laser printer[https://www.pantum.us/support/download/driver/ can be set up on MX Libretto? I need an installer as I cannot do it on the terminal... living on social care the setup has to work as I cannot return the printer; not allowed to drive after a stroke June 2023.
If you could look at the above linked debian driver, if I can just click it and therewith install the printer.
THX a lot in advance for any help.
CHEERIO,
Alfred

... But ... what's the product name (model) ?

I selected 2-3 randomly, first one was for Ubuntu (may/may not work, but it was a zip file so, we don't know whether it's just a deb file inside to click or instructions to manually install etc.)... (In case we know that it may work but the only way is the terminal, nothing to afraid, everyone will try to help how to do step by step)

Thank you Charlie Brown... it is not urgent, wanna buy a printer in6 to 8 weeks... and with all your help I should be able to do the installation via terminal.

Have some really good time... heartfelt greetings from Upper Austria and me, that is Alfred

Please be mindful of fonts when posting and use the default size, thank you. Adjusted a second time.

Assuming that because the Pantum you linked to is a laser printer and that it is the type you want to purchase, you should look at either a Brother or an HP. These two brands will be the easiest to install in MX.

ok, will not use other font size than regular no more.

And, is the PANTUM P2502W Laser printer now in the list of supported printers in MX Linux?

There appears to be a driver for linux (deb) here
