I successfully installed Wine then iTunes. iTunes works fine though it wont let me sign in to my account. Now I realize my USB port is not working as when I plug in my phone nothing happens (before all of this i could download photos from it).
This was all just a curiosity and don't care to have iTunes anymore but I def want my USB working again.
Attempted to uninstall iTunes with the wine uninstaller but iTunes didn't show in the list. I then deleted the .wine and .wine32 folders (i read on web that's one way of removing all programs and i only had installed itunes).
Anyway, iTunes no longer runs but it is still in my start menu (click on it nothing happens) and my USB still isn't working. I haven't tried to uninstall wine bc i thought maybe it will be useful for something else but I will uninstall if that is the only fix.
Can anyone help with this issue?
Thanks.

Did you install wine through the MX Package Installer ?

And if you do the following in a terminal what does it show?

Code: Select all

lsusb

*QSI = Quick System Info from menu (Copy for Forum)
*MXPI = MX Package Installer
*Please check the solved checkbox on the post that solved it.
*Linux -This is the way!

@CharlesV - Sorry for the delay and thanks for the response.
TBH I don't remember now. I can see the phone now but instead of it showing as "iPhone" with "DCIM" folder it shows as "Documents on iPhone" and shows a list of App folders.
Here is the results of lsusb.
