Shutdown is very slow!?

I have been using newest version MX and been using alot. I noticed after update on Dec 13th and I was going to bed and I clicked power to shut down. Left to bed. Then woke up this morning and took my dog out. I noticed my system fan light still lit on. I checked and screen showing splashscreen with "shutdown" and status bar was stuck. I thought it was just the glitch. I rebooted the system and it boots up fine but shutting down taking forever. I did use MX Grub repair and it's not helping.

Suggestion?

go back to the 6.1.0-13 kernel and see if that helps things. the 6.1.0-15 has issues that are fairly widespread, but don't affect all users. debian is working on an update (6.1.0-16) but hasn't hit the repos yet.

Ok No problem. I have spare 500GB drive and Just reformatted and installed fresh MX (Oct 2023 version). Will fix that issue on other drive. Thankyou!!
