hi
while i understand need for saving energy consumption.. i find awkward that my desktop goes to sleep in some short interval. i browsed around and i didn't find any intuitive way to change that interval also i like to use my computer as radio and it would be nice if my system would check internet flow before it goes to sleep not just mouse movement or key press.or how can i disable this?

If you are talking about MX Linux Xfce (and not KDE or Fluxbox), you can control that in Xfce's Settings Manager > Power Manager by setting the sliders to "Never." There's a Help button.

I'm with KDE. In the settings it says not to turn off the display, but it still turns it off at the 5 minute.

Have you unticked Power Saving > Energy Saving > Screen Energy Saving in System Settings? Also Suspend Session should be unticked.

Installing the video card drivers solved the problem. ChatGPT helped me! :)

on our MXlinux computer setup with an LCD TV screen for evening YouTube viewing, that screen goes off at about ten minutes even with a live video running. And nothing in MX settings changes that, I think it is something on the TV screen, but I've not been able to find a setting on the TV to change or why.
