Hi.

I was trying to see the screenlock login activity on my user account.
I dug around to find how to see logs on my machine, but it seems that some log files aren't where the tutorials indicated.
I don't know if there would be a log for that in Xfce or LightDM.
I looked at the system logs, but I couldn't make enough sense of them to tell if they were login/logoff events.

Where can I look for such a log? Or, is there a good tool for this?

I also hunted for the best Forum Section to ask this in.

Thank you.

If you run QSI ( Quick System Info ) you will see on the left the list of logs. I believe one of the lightdm.logs should have that info . (Probably also the syslog.)

And you can search them ( Ctrl-F ) to find login or other events.
