Shows "Applications view is unsupported on your system". Apparently this is because of a lack of SystemD, is there a fix?

Reboot and choose Advanced Options. Pick one ending in systemd and press Enter.

Something else is going on here, I do not run systemd and I have no problem with System Monitor.

Possibly run plasma-systemmonitor in a terminal and see what error codes are there.

Also, I see a number of repos that I am not familiar with in your list, possibly something overwrote or caused an issue there.

You might double check that the "system-monitor" your trying to use is the Plasma 5.27.5 version and not some other one. (there are several "system-monitors" out there !) You can verify by going into Discover and then searching for System-Manager.
It should be this one.. and you als might try removing and then reinstalling it .

Preferably without switching to SystemD....

It's the right one, quick DDG led me to https://forum.artixlinux.org/index.php/ ... 770.0.html

Nope, reinstalled it, no change.

The widget does not help.

What I specifically want which made this system monitor so useful before the update at some point brought this bug is being able to see per process network up and network down. The best alternative is iftop but it's actually very limited in usefulness as far as I can tell. I think this is what netinbound and netoutbound refers to.

So, those error messages are saying that their is an invalid height and width being requested for that python widget ( the network piece ) .

Try resizing that dialog, and if that doesnt work we may have to figure out how to reset that apps configuration.

Oh... someone JUST reported the same issue over in the german forum - as you mentioned, they believe it came in with the update!
