Good afternoon,
Hope this is the right forum to post it.

For a few weeks now, I don't get any emails from the forum. I'm not aware I changed any settings. I don't get emails for old threads or new threads.

I was getting emails about quotations and new answers for all my posting or threads where I ticked the box "notify me by email".

I have verified that Forum notifications are working. Perhaps your email client is blocking them or security software you may be using being aggressive,

checked my google mail account, no messages of the forum are in the spam folder.
Else I'm using built in vivaldi mail via imap - no blocking done there, as far as I know
and on my phone, using FairEmail - and didn't do anything blocking / flagging there either.

That's what baffles me, they just stopped.

Just to keep this up do date.

I still don't get any email from the forum.

Basically what that says: We did some reading around, and it is basically not something richb or I can solve.

Gmail is not being nice about receiving mails from various forums (it is not just this forum that is getting affected) and is therefor refusing them to get delivered flat out.

So, if you are using gmail.com or googlemail.com email addresses, and you are not getting the forum notification emails, you'll have to switch to something else.

Alternatively you can use the unread posts options as a workaround.

Also if your Forum account settings have a Gmail account, that is where notifications will be sent and blocked. To send to a Vivaldi mail account you would need to change that Forum email account to your Vivaldi email address. That would be done in User Control Panel > Profile > Edit account settings

I have reactivated my account using an ancient Yahoo Mail account. Wait and see if I get something in there.

Let's see if Eadwine's Yahoo account will receive the notification.
