Click in the upper right hand corner of the log in screen (the icon in mine reads "en_ca.utf8") and select the language you want to use from the list that appears.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

Open the tool "System Locales" from within "MX Tools":
and select from the long list the locale code:
bho_IN.UTF-8
you may want de-select/un-select any other locale you don't want to use:

On the next screen, it shows the selected and compiled locales.
E.g in my example it shows this:

Code: Select all

Generating locales (this might take a while)...
de_AT.UTF-8... done - German locale for Austria
de_CH.UTF-8... done - German locale for Switzerland
de_DE.UTF-8... done - German locale for Germany
en_GB.UTF-8... done - English locale for Britain
en_US.UTF-8... done - English locale for the USA
es_ES.UTF-8... done - Spanish locale for Spain
fr_BE.UTF-8... done - French locale for Belgium
fr_FR.UTF-8... done - French locale for France
pt_BR.UTF-8... done - Portuguese locale for Brasil
pt_PT.UTF-8... done - Portuguese locale for Portugal
bho_IN.UTF-8... done - Bhojpuri language locale for India
Generation complete.

System locale:
en_US.UTF-8 - English locale for the USA
On the login-screen as mentioned you can now switch between/select (session) locale which have been compiled.
