email notifications of new PM's have stopped

Hello web team,
I haven't been receiving email notifications of new PM's for the last week or so.
I've checked spam folders, tried changing to a different email address in account settings, but no luck.
Is something up with the outgoing mail from the forum?

Would you please check in you User Control panel, Board preferences, Edit notification options, that in "Someone sends you a private message" Notifications and email are checked.

FWIW: everything is checked there, but I'm not receiving notification of a new PM.

Can you send a PM to me? All the default Forum wide settings appear to be OK.

Yes, notification box is checked. I had been receiving mails up until sometime last week.

Something is awry. I did not get the one Jerry sent either. When logged in the notification of a PM shows on the Home page however. This may be a phpBB issue as it doesn't appear to be a Forum Setting. Hence there may not be a quick fix.

This probably isn't all that viable for you guys anyway, but if this problem turns out to be unfixable, I would definitely recommend using Simple Machines Forum personally. It's what I used to use way back in the day and it held strong and had tons of features. Actually, there are even one or two free add-ons that SMF had that XF simply does not or doesn't without you paying for them, and I miss having those.
