Installed latest Thunderbird 91.13.0.1. (from stable-security repo)
Now MX wants me to update Thunderbird to an older version? (78.13.0-1mx)
How can I change this setting?
MX shows Thunderbird Update from 91.13. to 78.13?

I suggest you install TB from the MXPI test repo (current version is 91.12)

According my MX-21 virtual Machine version 91 is in test-repo.ara wrote: Wed Aug 31, 2022 3:43 am Installed latest Thunderbird 91.13.0.1. (from stable-security repo)
So you must have installed it from test Repo.
Tested in MX-19 (Xfce):
You can make this:
1. Go to MX Repo Manager an check the line with the red arrow:
2. In the path "/etc/apt/preferences.d" create the file "UpdateParticularTestPackages"
3. The content of this file should be:
Code: Select all
Package: thunderbird thunderbird-l10n-de
Pin: release a=mx,c=test
Pin-Priority:100

This way it will always install the newest Thunderbird from test-repo and no longer from stable repo.
Of course, no other packages from the test repo are installed. Only Thunderbird.
