MX 21.1 KDE issue with Maria DB / mysql

Hello everyone.

Fresh system, all updates don
Installed MariaDB with no issues, all went ok
Installed squid with no issues
Installed screensquid, no apparent issues, I thought

I could connect to the db and run the installation ok, table seems to be existing, user and pw are set
When I try to connect via Firefox or phpadmin I get to see a blank page with the word forbidden on it
When I try to use DBeaver to establish a connectiom, it will insist that the user is not allowed to connect
installed webmin to maybe find a solution and checked the optios, to see if something was wrong but it did not give me an error

I wanted to restart mariadb and got : mysql: unrecognized service

I have tried to reinstall mariadb but the result is still the same
Is there a solution ?
