Showing info about your bluetooth

Code: Select all

hciconfig -a

Can you paste the output of that in code tags? Like so:
paste output here
Hopefully that should give those in the know enough info. :crossfingers:

Meanwhile, your qsi shows no wireless devices. Just ethernet.

What does this show?

Code: Select all

rfkill

Which motherboard did you purchase? The MAG B550M MORTAR or the MAG B550M MORTAR WIFI? If you purchased the former, you are going to have to purchase a WIFI card in order to get Bluetooth. Edited to add: If you purchased the latter, you should return it to the store because the built-in wifi module clearly isn't operable.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

FWIW, I think that you should search your local marketplace for something like this internal card:

https://www.canadacomputers.com/product ... _id=164091

USB network cards are more readily available these days but they have the disadvantage that the USB connection slot becomes another possible point of failure.
