A Liquorix 5.16 build into Stable Repo?

Hi,
Probably bothering poor
@Stevo for this...
Kernel 5.16 has some particular important improvements to help latency performance which are pretty significant for folks using USB Audio Interfaces for Recording. I'm sure AVL-MXE folks would be interested and I would probably want to upgrade to a Liquorix 5.16 when I put up a fresh AVL ISO to sync up with MX 21.1 (whenever it arrives).. The reason I would want it in Stable Repo would be to access it with the Build ISO scripts

OK...I want to build the latest 5.16-25 release tomorrow, so will probably try and get that into the main repo.

Hello,
I updated to 5.16-26~mx21+1 this morning. When I boot it (init), I end with a login prompt - no Slim, no X.
I use NVIDIA 390.144 driver from MX repo, could there be a problem with building the modules?
5.15-11~mx21+1 still works fine.

Yes, no doubt that it needs an update to work with 5.16. Let me see if it's made it into the Debian backports or upstream Debian yet.
Edit: the changelog suggests that the bullseye-backports version may work with 5.16--just says "recent kernels", though. The upstream version in Bookworm claims to be patched for 5.17 too, so I'll try that one. Right now my machine is busy up backporting the latest Bullseye kernel 5.10.106 to MX 19 AHS.
Do you know how to have MX Nvidia-installer install the backports version?

Good Morning!
pretty significant for folks using USB Audio Interfaces for Recording
That's the case with me!
Stevo, will you put 390.147 in MX repo or is there a way to make MX Nvidia-installer use the version in Debian Backports?

Hi Folks,
today Liquorix was updated to 5.19-5~mx21+1 and it doesn't work with the recently updated nvidia 390.151-2~mx21+1 driver. 5.18-21~mx21+1 works fine.
