System freezes after some time when waking up from sleep(suspend)

#1 Post by DrDonkey »

Hi, when I put my laptop to sleep for some time then wake it up. Use for a while (about 5 minutes), it freezes the screen, doesn't respond to my mouse and keyboard inputs.
I tried Ctrl+alt+f1 etc, doesn't respond.
I haven't had any issues other than this. Great job.

My configuration:

(You can press E on grub menu and navigate with arrow keys, then add the parameter after ... ro quiet splash ... then hit F10 ... (to try temporarily) )

If still not:

Menu => MX Package Installer => MX Test Repo tab: Type 5.14 in the search box (or paste 5.14.0-4 )

linux-headers-5.14.0-4mx-.......
linux-image-5.14.0-4mx-.......

Check both, click install below, Reboot.
