How to fully install Gnome Shell into MX-Linux

Although I love using XFCE, but due to Gnome's integration with Google Drive and Google Calendar (through Online accounts and Evolution), I am using Gnome Shell. So, I have installed Gnome Shell on my system.
After using it for a while, it seems I am missing a few tools, may be because when I installed Gnome DE from MX Package installer, it was mentioned as "Gnome Base". So, for my work needs, I had to install Online Accounts, Gnome Screensaver (because screen lock was not working), a few shell extensions, Evolution because I didn't wanted to again add Emails for Thunderbird. Evolution works good with Online Accounts. I am also getting the Google Drive integration working.
But there are some issues like when I wanted to add Cairo Dock or a cloud drive (pCloud) as a startup application, it is not working. So,this raises my doubt that do I need to add some more tools for Gnome to let it work smoother? So, here are the issues on which I need help :
1) Am I missing some apps which I need to install alongwith the basic Gnome?
2) I was want the System sounds working the same way as it works with XFCE. I couldn't find an option to do that.
3) I will be using Gnome Shell so if I want to remove the other already installed Desktop Environments like Cinnamon, XFCE etc. Can I simply remove them through Package Installer?
Thank you.
