How to Install Bitwarden on Firefox

#1 Post by debaser13 »

I'm looking for a good tutorial on installing Bitwarden. So far every video I have viewed in Youtube has not helped. I have been trying MXLinux 19.4 for a few months now. As far as I can tell it's not available on MX Package Installer or Synaptic Package Installer. Any help please!

I understand that it is a firefox addon. It's always been there and enabled but it doesn't show in the browser menu bar. I have already checked the firefox Preferences and Add On and Themes Tab and I don't see a way to get Bitwarden to show in the Menu Bar. I guess that's why I was thinking it's not really installed correctly into firefox.

Well I fell really dumb on this one. Bitwarden is just an addon as stated by Adrian and it was installed an enabled. So I searched and found a forum that mentioned to allow it to "Run in Private Windows". https://discourse.mozilla.org/t/bitward ... lbar/55384

I saw that but didn't think that was the reason it wasn't showing in the toolbar. Now I know.
