MX at last
MX at last
Hi, I tried different distros, fedora, ubuntu, arch, manjaro, garuda, but I settled on MX because I was able to get it working, and since its Debian based it works with deb files and the software manager. I have an Asus pc which was a pain to install because of pcieport errors which I turned off, apparently, it was making the log file grow exponentially even though I was using it and filled up my HDD so I turned off MMCONF and that stopped the logs from getting huge like 7GB+. Thanks for MX. At first, I confused Mint and MX but they're both good and my fav IMHO... results may vary.
Re: MX at last
Welcome.
You can't assume though that any deb files work with mx.
Ubuntu deb files won't work with mx (Debian based) or may cause conflicts.
An old Debian deb file for an older Debian release won't work with mx19 (Debian buster).
