System completely freezes after waking up from suspend

#1 Post by ekanto »

Hi,
I am using MX 19.3 xfce on my HP Probook 450G5. I have set suspend when my laptop lid are closed from xfce power option. But after opening up the lid, the system completely freezes. None of my input devices work like keyboard, mouse etc. It's just becomes a rock. Then I had to reboot everytime.

I have used Cinnamon(Other distro) too. But things work perfectly there. But I face issues while I am on xfce. Is the issue with xfce or MX? How can I fix these? My config is given below

Not a fix, but you might want to try our MX AHS version on that machine. AHS is a build intended for very recent machines and while yours is not "very" recent, it's recent enough to benefit from the better baseline hardware support and graphical subsystem provided with the AHS build.
