Lost MX Updater  [Solved]

Help with the version of MX KDE officially released by the Development Team.
When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.
1. Click on Quick System Info in MX Tools
2. Right click in your post and paste.

Unable to find MX Updater icon or menu.
mx-apps-kde is installed.

this may work

right click on the little arrow in the KDE panel ...
then click on configure system tray

then click entries

and then change apt-notifier to 'always shown'' from whatever it says in the drop down menu

You're using the MX Base KDE respin not the official MX-KDE release. I personally have no idea about what the respin's creator removed from it to make it Base. What packages containing "mx" in the names are installed?

apt-notifier is already the newest version (20.11.01mx19+1).

If I run apt-notifier manually from terminal, it runs fine.
Looks like it got deleted somehow from entries.

What is the exact Entry to create including arguments?

have you looked in the KDE Menu Editor if it's there somewhere? (right-click on menu icon and 'edit applications')
