Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
Since I only have this problem on two MX Linux - KDE machines, I guess it's a MX Linux problem.
On one machine I run two instances, one is version 3.0.2 (KDE), the other one version 2.5.1git - the same problem on both of them.
Anyone an idea about this?

Re: Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
I think this is caused by issues with how the keyring daemon is started before nextcloud tries to use it. Most of the time the keyring daemon is made the same as the user login to the PC so that it is automatically loaded on startup. Unfortunately I am not to familiar with how the keyring implementation works to help further.
Re: Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
Thanks anyway!
I'll follow your idea and post the solution if I'll find one.
Edit: Puh, seems to be be too complicated for me.

Re: Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
When you have Nextcloud and the error does appear you will need to create a wallet first. Once the credentials are in the wallet then it will not ask you to sign it again.

Re: Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
This assumes that you are able to run a recent enough Nextcloud connector that it will use the wallet. I am having to run nextcloud-client-l10n (2.3.2-20170823.130651~trusty1) because the 2.6.0-1~mx19+1 version does nor connect to thegood.cloud. I have to manually open the wallet and log in to Nextcloud at each boot.

Could you solve the issue? I'm facing the same problem here.Schoebi wrote: Sun Jan 24, 2021 4:28 am Thanks anyway!

Re: Nextcloud requires login and "grant access" at every startup
I did workaround it setting a blank KDE wallet password. But that's not suggested I guess.
