Re: antiX-16-b2.1-full available
There is a bug in Iceweasel affecting YouTube. The buttons at the bottom of the video screen all bunch up to the left, making them unusable.
This has been present for some months, and is apparent in every distro with Iceweasel I have tested.
It doesn't happen with Firefox; what is the reason FF is no longer an options?
Chris

Antix hasn't shipped with firefox in a long time. However it should be available in the metapackage installer.chrispop99 wrote:There is a bug in Iceweasel affecting YouTube. The buttons at the bottom of the video screen all bunch up to the left, making them unusable.

Re: antiX-16-b2.1-full available
What's the plan for iceweasel when the next ESR version comes out?
Every 7th firefox release is a ESR version, with FF 46 having just been released yesterday I think the ESR version will probably soon jump from 38.x to 45.x.
I'm not sure what ESR package will be available in the repos when it makes the jump from 38.x to 45.x, will it be 'iceweasel 45.x' or 'firefox 45.x', they've stopped building newer version iceweasel packages at mozilla.debian.net.

Thanks; I mis-read Anti's post to mean it was being removed from the meta-package installer!dolphin_oracle wrote:Antix hasn't shipped with firefox in a long time. However it should be available in the metapackage installer.

I've read that the next esr will be firefox and that iceweasel users will automatically get the Firefox esr when available.kmathern wrote:What's the plan for iceweasel when the next ESR version comes out?

So the iceweasel update will be a dummy/transitional package?dolphin_oracle wrote:I've read that the next esr will be firefox and that iceweasel users will automatically get the Firefox esr when available.
