antiX-15-beta1 to beta2 patch available

#1 Post by anticapitalista »

This is for feedback, before making the iso available to all.

I have uploaded a patch (b1-b2_patch) so we are all on the same page.

It is here:

http://download.tuxfamily.org/antix/Testing/antiX-15/

Size: c90MB

Patch antiX-15-beta1 like this.

Code: Select all

xdelta3 -d -s antiX-15-beta1-V_386-full.iso b1-b2_patch antiX-15-beta2-V_386-full.iso
md5sums of patch and resultant iso also uploaded.

Full details of changes over at antiX forums.

NB: You will be prompted for USERNAME password, so for the installer, type demo

Broadcom recognized OOTB, which is very nice, so I am posting this wirelessly with no effort. Will install and take a closer look later.

Could not get the installer to come up using the link on the desktop: entered root's pwd and then nothing. Working fine out of the terminal, though: su, "root," and off.

If user reads the pop-up instructions.

Edit: Maybe it is best not to prompt for any password once the install icon is pressed.

Please - pwd is present working directory - you must mean passwd. :)
