It does indeed work well. it comes with a little booklet for Windows/Mac users with instructions on how to install. Plus a tiny CD with drivers and a slip of paper that gives the website to download the linux drivers. If I could install it then anyone that uses a computer can.

We don't ever tend to use CD's here so the download what the easy option.

Again, it was interesting (and good) that you had no trouble in installing the Realtek driver which I understand that particular dongle comes supplied with. Realtek drivers as I've mentioned previously, are not the preferred ones by some as far as Linux goes because they can be a little problematic. I myself have found that very issue in installing MX of the latter versions in particular. Anyway, I am pleased my suggestion to go down the route of an external dongle has been the thing that got you up and running in I am sure, a cost-effective way.
