Back to 100% XFCE4, SLiM is gone replaced with lightDM, AV Linux Assistant is now morphed into more generic tools for AV, MXDE and beyond... Liquorix 6.0 Kernel. Too much to list it all here, wait for the Release Announcement. Waiting on the release of Ardour 7.2..

I hope Ardour Devs do the needful with a quick but stable release, the suspense on downloading this ISO is high at my end

Agree, waiting eagerly here. Do I see an Icon on the desktop ? Installer...We are going to have a real desktop ??..

Even if Ardour were hard to install/update, I'd release the new AVLinux before the dust settles.
As far as I know, Ardour is as easy to install or update as anything else.

I hope you didn't lose at poker to one of their team, with the 7.2 release inclusion
as part of the pot

Hi!

I have a AV Linux MX Edition 21.2.1 ISO 99% ready to release and I have a nagging notion in the back of my brain (the part where the dust and cobwebs are) to go back to a pure XFCE4 setup and revert/remove Openbox...
