Messing around on my test migrated MX15.
Here's a festive wallpaper from Vladstudio - Santa in a sleigh flown by winged giraffes. I like his whimsical pics.
The icon theme is fun and very complete (practically the whole MX Tools has a red/white icon assigned to it), but perhaps a bit too minimalist/abstract for clarity in some cases. See the Firefox one for example - looks like a tulip!

I usually stick fairly close to the default, but the inclusion of a dark theme in MX-16 led me to experiment. I haven't been able to get the dark theme to work satisfactorily for some of my applications, so have reverted to the light theme. I did find a nice dark theme for Thunderbird - Metal Lion Sea Monkey.
I have 6 Workspaces and so I followed Jerry's lead and have all 6 wallpapers. Most are fairly dark and I relegated the one light one to Workspace 6 which runs XP in VBox. The ghost panel is set at 40% with solid black background when hovered.

We can't see that. Use the full reply form, click on the Attachments tab on the bottom, and navigate to the image. If it is too big it will be rejected by the forum software, then you can use ZimageZ or some other image hosting site.
