Hello everyone. Thanks a ton for the amazing support. I never expected such amazing support in such short time.
I tried installing the nvidia detect package again and chenged the kernel version to 5.4 Still the drivers won't install.
I also used sudo ddm-mx -p nvidia before install of kernel and nvidia drivers.
This is the copy of the nvidia driver install on kernel 5.4--

In your post #32 can you click the pencil icon at the right to edit the post, select everything after "This is the copy of the nvidia driver install on kernel 5.4--" then click the </> icon in the forum editor toolbar and click Submit to wrap it within [code] [/code] BBCode tags and make it easier to read?
Also for some reason I am experiencing mouse input lag and freeze in kernel version 5.4
Switching back to 5.6 for now. Also please help me install the GPU drivers as I do some work in Video and Photo editing

I will read your whole last posts again and but just so we get the biggest hurtle with this covered, the Nvidia driver will show N/A in the QSI like this. It doesn’t mean the driver isn’t installed properly.
I think it was stated earlier, if not I apologize. This confuses a lot of people and they spend hours and hours thinking something is wrong when it might not be.

Yep. You even mentioned the workaround:
Not sure a acpi boot option is needed for this laptop yet.
What I was trying to get at is that this is an Optimus system, QSI won't show the driver loaded for the Nvidia card. We need to test/show it another way.

No, no.. I wrote them not to be applied by you.. Just in general speaking, info .. Also I was thinking that those parameters wouldn't be needed with the newest kernels... In fact no harm to try temporarily on Grub Menu.. But just wait ..
