On some Bioses (like mine) there's an option to enable/disable network (or) wifi .. maybe ... (that will affect all)

And maybe you pressed Fn + ... key without knowing on one of the systems.. If there's such an option there ...

Well, this time I went to the BIOS and disconnected the 'wireless' and 'bluetooth' options.

I think this is the most radical thing I can do at the moment as I can't figure out how to shut down all wifi service from the modem, that would be the ideal.
