How to get to record part of a video, not in youtube?  [Solved]

Help for Current Versions of MX
When asking for help, use Quick System Info from MX Tools. It will be properly formatted using the following steps.
1. Click on Quick System Info in MX Tools
2. Right click in your post and paste.

Aidemux can crop videos too.

Kazam's really straightforward too; can choose an area, press Enter, then press Capture and it'll count down. Then right click on tray icon, and can finish and save. Check Prefs first re audio source, + system audio input volume (for anyone brand new to linux).
