Sorry to reply twice. But, I'm wondering if this is a case of your wife working for Chase (working from home being a major problem?). I'm wondering if the rest of us interpreted that (a VPN problem) as a typical customer logging in?NevilsStation wrote: Sat Jul 11, 2020 3:08 pm It is a major problem if my wife cannot access chase.com

Re: Conflict on Chase.com Site
The problem with the Chase site is real.
I am using Linux Mint and I use Chromium. On or about a week or so ago, something changed as far as the Chase website. Now, I can't login using Chromium. I think they are fingerprinting the machines and certain variables make it and others don't. It's Chase.
If you can believe this, a workaround that I've found is to use Ephemeral browser which was in my Software Manager. So all I had to do was install from there. It is a bare-bones browser that leaves no tracks, and you can't even store passwords or favorites. But it gets me into the Chase website, so I can pay my credit card bills.
Hope this helps.

I also see now that Ephemeral is available in the Snap Store, for both 32 and 64 machines.
Forgive me - I don't use MX Linux so I am assuming that MX users can access and use Snapcraft

Re: Conflict on Chase.com Site
Because there is a problem, and the thread is valid, and the last post on this was relatively recent.
But if you need to know the exact, heartfelt motive for my posting here:
I WAS TRYING TO HELP SOMEONE.
Is that a valid enough reason to satisfy your snooty reply to me?
Please let me know if that is a valid reason.

Just because you dismissed the problem earlier, doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist. Ok, ADMINISTRATOR?

Chase is working fine in firefox here, FWIW. I use it daily. I can try chromium later today.

Admin note: you're brand new here, haven't built up any credit, so I will now tell you to dial down the attitude. Thank you.Fenton wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 1:54 pm Just because you dismissed the problem earlier, doesn't mean that the problem doesn't exist. Ok, ADMINISTRATOR?

No, it's fine.
Don't worry about me. I'm leaving. I will remove this site from my bookmarks and never come back. Will do it right after this post hits. Thank you for your hospitality.
Some people - even when they get a small inkling of power, let it go to their heads. The recent exchange is a good example of it, directed to a good guy who only wanted to help out his fellow man that had the same problem with Chase.
Let it be an example that everyone can see.
Good luck to everyone!

Yes, let this be an example of how to to get bent out of shape and blow up at people when asked a simple non-"snooty" question.
A better proper response would be "Because I was just trying to help."
I think anyone who uses this forum and uses MX Linux knows what this community and distro are about.
