That installs and works fine! I'm not sure if every facet of Lutris still works but it certainly seems good enough to me.

Saw there was Lutris 5.12 in Test Repo.
I deinstalled the one I had from the normal repo, and clicked install the one from test repo.

It means that this package:

can't be installed. It may not be available anymore or it might not be suitable for your version of MX.

It goes on to say that these two recommended packages:

 libwine-development and python-evdev

should no be installed either and that is likely be cause they need the previous one in order to work properly.

The upshot of this is that Lutris will not install or work on your system and, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to change that.

Strangely enough, the version from normal repo was working, though I admit I never got around actually using it

Checked the homepage, version 5.13 (beta) sounds promising, let's wait for its stable release and try again.

IIRC, I installed this python thing cause I need it for a script to read out a USB testing device. That didn't work right out of the box, didn't got around on looking into it yet.

Just saw this on their homepage:

You can add a repository using terminal to receive automatic updates:

would this be a good idea? or will this conflict with other settings MX has?

tried on another PC the flatplack, and the new version works way better (at least connecting to different stores)
But 1 GB for lutris is a bit much considering the small size the version out of the repo has :D

Hi, the most recent 5.17 version of Lutris does not install on MX19, it fails with a Python error. Can it be reverted to 5.16? Probably forever since 19 is close to EOL?
