MXFBPi Beta 2 testing

Tried 3 times - even downloaded original - applied 1st patch -loaded patched img ok - then applied 2nd patch to img that I had just loaded - fails:

Somethinh went wrong ...
sh: can't access tty: job control turned off

The patch has to be applied to the MXFBPi_B2.img == the result of applying the MXFBPi_B2.patch to the original image file that is there.

Are you sure you got the command right? Copy/paste if you can.

did you do anything with video settings while you were messing around with a boot splsash?

xdelta's will tell you if you are trying to patch against the wrong file.

I didn't but I suppose that script that set it up might have. I'll look in /boot...

But Chris got it to work?

I looked in /boot. Nothing I added yesterday mentions resolution.

I do see 4 kernels, don't know if that's normal. They all date from Feb 5, the date of a kernel upgrade from RPi.

@Jerry3904 I don't think the patch is the problem. I would look into the possiblity of some sort of display settings problem. it may play into why we can't find an arandr script, but that chris' boot had the wrong resolution.
