~FLOW~ wrote: Fri Dec 15, 2023 8:03 am Greetings my excellent friends,
I have a new weird thing for you, maybe you can help me with some tips.
The problem is that I can't access smb from Double Commander.
Maybe you missed to install gvfs-backends,
b/c double commander from mx-repos
doublecmd-qt: 1.0.11-1mx23+1
doublecmd-plugins: 1.0.11-1mx23+1

works here with MX-23 KDE November
and connects to smb or ftp uris.

HTH, greetz l0dr3
That was the first thing that I did.
In the forum :
The first suggestion using VFS List doesn't work, it asks me for some user credentials but won't let me in whatever I put there, tried both local and network accounts. We do not use network discovery, maybe that's the problem.
And I get this
