Dopo aggiornamento CUPS stampante con problemi

Buongiorno, ho MX 19.4.
Dopo aggiornamenti CUPS la stampante HP deskjep 2630 stampa come fosse uno specchio, speculare, io non ho modificato nulla quindi è un problema insorto con qualcosa che non dipende da me. Consigli?

DeskJet 2630 non è elencato nel portale per sviluppatori HP come supportato da hplip. Sei sicuro che il nome del modello sia corretto?

Si deskjet 2630. Versione di HPlip x 2600 series: HPLIP-3.19.6 version was installed on 29-10-2023.
Nel print setting è attivo l'opzione mirror printing, anche se la disattivo e metto tutto in default, una volta chiuso o quando stampo si ripristina in automatico, premetto che non ho toccato mai nulla.
Questo mi è successo dopo gli ultimi aggiornamenti di cups, almeno credo, non uso la stampante tutti i giorni.

Innanzitutto, avviare MXPI --> App popolari --> Stampa e installare HP Printing. Quindi vai su Impostazioni --> Impostazioni di stampa e prova ad aggiungere la tua stampante.

Ok, avevo già installato HP printing l'ho reinstallato, le impostazioni della stampante rimangono quelle con mirror mode on.

HP DeskJet 2630 non è compatibile con Linux, come mostra questo screenshot allegato dal portale per sviluppatori HP. Come puoi vedere nello screenshot, ci sono i modelli deskjet 2620, 2622 e 2623, motivo per cui ti ho chiesto di verificare il numero del modello.
Il portale degli sviluppatori HP:

elenca tutte le stampanti realizzate da HP che attualmente supportano Linux.
Stai utilizzando MX 19.4. Questo argomento dei forum Mint creato il 21 gennaio 2020 (stesso periodo di MX 19.4) mostra che il driver della stampante aveva componenti Python:

I manutentori del linguaggio Python hanno rilasciato un importante aggiornamento della versione nell'ottobre 2023 e potrebbe darsi che, a causa di questo aggiornamento, la tua stampante
non sia più supportata da hplip. Ciò spiegherebbe perché non è elencato nel portale degli sviluppatori HP.

E' possibile ma non dovrei ricevere più aggiornamenti, non capisco quell'effetto specchio sempre attivo e se lo disattivo, lui si riattiva, sembra un bug. il problema stà lì.

Forse dovresti passare alla nostra distribuzione sorella, Antix, che è specificatamente pensata per i computer più vecchi come il tuo.

Si avevo intenzione di passare ad Antix, aspettavo il '24 quando scadeva il supporto per la 19.4
Comunque cercavo una vecchia versione .deb di HPlip, ho trovato questo:

Solo che il download

viene bloccato perchè da una pagina hpps vengo reindirizzato ad una htpp non sicura.

Ho provato la stessa cosa con Debian 10.6 da cui deriva la mia point release ma mi mancano delle dipendenze per concludere l'installazione.

Capisco perfettamente il tuo desiderio di mantenere in funzione il vecchio kit come questa stampante il più a lungo possibile. Tuttavia, questa stampante è stata eliminata da HP e nessuna quantità di modifiche in MX cambierà la situazione. È giunto il momento di procurarti una nuova stampante.
