There's nothing to worry about. That statement is just "geek speak" for 'a generic bash profile was created and loaded by your distribution at start-up'.
HP 15; ryzen 3 5300U APU; 500 Gb SSD; 8GB ram
HP 17; ryzen 3 3200; 500 GB SSD; 12 GB ram
Idea Center 3; 12 gen i5; 256 GB ssd;

In Linux, newer isn't always better. The best solution is the one that works.

i tried readin this thread 2x. not sure what you are really talking about. just some comments though. does your system work or not? if it does maybe you are good to go as they say. 2nd. be careful of installing apps or old apps as such that are not maintained. 3rd. do not just follow a bunch of comments and advice on a forum without quite knowing the source - a person's knowledge, and also advice that you may not be following. as a minimal knowledge guy i always hesitate to just jump in there, if you know what i mean. lastly - can you just do a clean install and not try to mess with or tweak too much re: scripts and terminal commands and weird third party apps if you can and get it running and then go from there?
If it is not broke then don't fix it; and if you can't fix it then don't break it!

decades ago when i struggled to get into linux and also get something to work on my laptops - i learned something from an old dear, now deceased friend from Sweden - and i try to follow it: if it is not broke then don't fix it; and if you cannot fix it then don't break it! be patient and people here will do their best to help you out - good luck and welcome!

That's just a spacer created by the the installer when it partitioned your HDD/SSD and again, nothing to worry about.

I suggest that you create an MX Linux diary where you can write down all the things that bother you along with their explanations as you encounter them. It's something we all do because we recognize that there is no way we will remember all the minutiae of this operating system.
