Auro also made a few interesting circular menu buttons here: viewtopic.php?f=119&t=52094#p520984

Visually, pilpintu's icons are full-on spherical, while Auro went for flat circles or slightly rounded disks (kind of like flattened plastic beads).

So for those of you who like rounded/circular type start buttons, you have a wide variety to choose from.

Meanwhile, pilpintu, I'm looking forward to version 2 of your crystal ball icon..... ;)

Oops, the thread is in the Dev Team private board.

Let me PM him to ask if it would be ok to post the buttons in the public board.

MX crystal ball menu button - version 0.2

#18 Post by pilpintu »

Hi everyone!

Here's the second version of the glass ball menu button. Thanks for your kind suggestions and for showing where I could get an svg image of the logo, which solved the pixelation problem. This new version has a larger logo and comes in three different shades and levels of transparency.

Download them in a zip file from here:

And of course, you have permission to use these buttons freely. Enjoy!

I like it but that reflection spot at the top is really distracting and takes way from it... just my opinion.
